2009 AYF HALL OF FAME
Congratulations to Carl Allegretti for unanimously being selected to the 2009 American Youth Football Hall of Fame.  "The American Youth Football Hall of Fame is AYF's highest honor and is only bestowed on the Leaders of our great country who have made a difference in the lives of our Nations best citizens. CARL S. ALLEGRETTI SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

Click here to read a story about one of our own.  The Carl S. Allegretti scholarship award goes to the top American Youth Football (AYF) Academic Athlete. Carl Allegretti will also been inducted into the AYF Hall of Fame for his long-time dedication to youth football and his emphasis on education. The induction will be held next month in Orlando.

LUKE LIZEN and NICK ALLEGRETTI

Luke and Nick will be mentioned in the Chicago Tribune Sports in Fred Mitchell's column.  Congratulations!

Local attractions: On Feb. 22 at Halas Hall, as part of the National Football Foundation awards ceremony, the first-ever "Fred Mitchell Award" ( www.fredmitchellaward.com) will be presented to the nation's best place-kicker for performance on the field and in the community among nearly 400 Division II and Division III schools. Former Bears defensive tackle Steve McMichael will provide his College Football Hall of Fame acceptance speech, Luke Lizen and Nick Allegretti will receive the NFF Courage Award and $20,000 in college scholarships will be awarded to local high school football players who excel on the football field, in the classroom and in the community. VOLUNTEER CARDS
Click here to download your volunteer card.  Volunteer cards will be only available on the website or at the concession stand. Signed cards
can be turned back in the volunteer box at the concession stand.

VOLUNTEER POLICY - IMPORTANT REMINDER
You are required to volunteer for the organization once for each child in the league. Please note that this does not include game responsibilities such as fruit, chains, water or security. It does include responsibilities for the league such as concessions, Falcon wear tent, cookie dough, split the pot and others. Please refer to the volunteer card which lists all of the volunteer areas.

Once you have your volunteer card signed by either a Board Member or a Volunteer Chairperson only,  please drop your card in the volunteer box located at the concession stand. All volunteer refunds will be handed out during equipment turn in.  Failure to turn-in a signed card will result in the loss of your $ 50.00 and your alumni status next year. There are no exceptions to this policy.  Please don't wait until the last game to do so.
