The Frankfort Falcon’s Flag Football program
is designed to serve as an introduction to the fundamentals of football.
Emphasis is on education and participation. For this reason, official
scores and records are not kept. Each player is given the opportunity
to play several different positions and equal game time is given to all
players as much as possible. For many players, this will be their first
exposure to a team sport. Value of commitment and team work are
emphasized. Above all, good sportsmanship is demanded, not only from
the players, but also from the coaches and parents. While flag football
is a physical sport, your child’s safety is our priority and we take
every precaution necessary to minimize the chance of injury.
The Frankfort Falcons program offers two flag leagues – One league for 6
& 7 year olds and a second league for 8, 9 and 10 year olds - based
on the child’s age as of August 31. A copy of the player’s birth
certificate will be required on the first day of practice.
$105 registration fee + $50 deposit -
Registration fees are non-refundable
Deposits are returned at end of
season if volunteer requirements are fulfilled. Flag parents are
typically assigned to work the Main Park concession stand during the
week or on game days. Other volunteer options may be made available
throughout the season as needs arise.
Both flag levels are capped at 8 teams of 13 players. Registration may
be extended beyond February 20th depending on enrollment
numbers. A lottery may be necessary for new players if enrollment
exceeds availability. You may not be informed of your specific team
assignment for up to several months following registration. Once all
teams are determined and filled, your coach or team mom will reach out
to you.
The league provides each player with a helmet, flags and a mouthpiece at
the first practice. No other equipment is required. Game jerseys will
be issued before the first game. Shorts or sweats, and a tee shirt are
appropriate for practice. Players are required to have white baseball
or football pants for games. Football shoes are highly recommended, but
not required.

IMPORTANT
Due to roster limitations at Tackle levels and league rules, Flag
players cannot be guaranteed a roster spot on Tackle. When
moving to the next level, if player demand exceeds roster openings
in the tackle program, a lottery will be held to determine
allocation of available spots.
Volunteer Refund for Flag
All Flag parents must attend the equipment turn in date to receive their $50
volunteer deposit refund. Please make sure you have turned in your signed
volunteer card. Please turn in any equipment you still have (helmets, flags).
Coaches should also turn in their equipment bags.
If you have any questions, please email
